Company Overview

Growing interior design firm based in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a Project Manager. Reporting to the Senior Interior Designer, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with interior design, project management, quotes and proposals, and ordering and tracking.

Position

  • Assist with Interior Design
  • Assist in inspiration packets
  • Assist in construction selections
  • Assist in furniture layout designs
  • Assist in preparation for client meetings

Project Management

  • Assist in creating project timelines
  • Assist in scheduling installations
  • Understand and implement Studio Designer and other softwares applicable
  • Set up new vendor accounts and maintain relationships with existing vendors
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and other professionals associated with projects when needed
  • Respond to current client requests when appropriate, especially for quotes, proposals, invoicing and billing
  • Assist with any sample ordering.

Quotes and Proposals

  • Assist in obtaining pricing and lead times from vendors for all design selections
  • Assist in obtaining additional costs, such as workroom costs, shipping fees and installation costs
  • Input design selections into Google Drive, tracking sheets and Studio Designer with item descriptions, pricing, quantities, images, colorways, dimensions, item codes and any other necessary information.
  • Work with Director of Operations to create proposals and reports through Studio Designer and communicate these proposals to team members, clients, and any professionals associated with the project.

Ordering and Tracking

  • Assist with placing orders for design selections and manage the logistics of all orders, including shipping, tracking, deliveries and receivals at H&E
  • Record and document orders and receipts into Studio Designer and Google Drive
  • Update and manage order statuses in the appropriate tracking sheet with acknowledgement dates, ship dates, tracking details, estimated deliveries, delays and actual deliveries.
  • Assist with resolving any issues with orders, shipments, and deliveries.
  • Receive all items delivered to the office and organize them in the office; update tracking as necessary

Office Organization

  • Assist with keeping the office organized
  • Help put away samples by end of the day
  • Help organize client inventory
  • Note any needed office supplies and order and organize

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a team
  • Enthusiastic learner for technology; excellent computer skills
  • High level of integrity, dependability, and sound judgement
